and beneficial phytochemicals such as campesterol, high amounts of β-sitosterol, glutathione,.... and 1-acetoxy-2,4-dihydroxyheptadeca-16-ene and 1,2,4-trihydroxyheptadeca-16-ene); carnitine; proanthocyanidins; persenones A and B(7).

However, avocados also cause some adverse effects that are not clearly illustrated, according to medical literature.

It is my advice that everyone who enjoys the fruit occasionally and daily should fully understand the health benefits and the adverse effects of avocados, particularly people who have a liver problem or currently are taking conventional medicine to treat chronic ailments and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Side effects of avocado
1. Skin product of avocado oils may contain latex which can cause a skin side effect in people with hypersensitivity.

Symptoms of hypersensitivity to latex.include reddening of the skin, itching, hives, or eczema.

In a serious case, the latex can induce an anaphylactic response, causing swelling of the airways and difficulty of breathing.

According to the Hospital Universitario Insular, the nature of latex is complex, it is an allergenic mixture that depends on chemical, immunological and epidemiological variables.

Latex proteins show strong cross-reactivity with several proteins from fruit and vegetable, including avocado(1).

Washing the avocado with a food-safe wash to the remove chemicals from the skin can be helpful.

2. Liver damage

Avocado may cause liver damage as a result of collagen accumulation in the liver

According to the study using V79 cells and Swiss mice conducted by the joint investigation lead by the Universidade de Franca, injection of the highest fruit pulp oil of P. americana (PAO) dose showed a significant increase of the levels of aspartate aminotransferase, the indication of hepatic/tissue damage.

Dr. Nicolella HD, lead scientists said, "This effect may be related to high concentrations of palmitic acid, the main component of PAO"(2).

3. Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
Avocado may be unsafe during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

According to medical literature, eating avocado during pregnancy and breastfeeding may reduce milk production(5).

Some researchers even suggested that intake of avocado (no quantity given) may also cause damage to the mammary gland. (5)

Breastfeeding mother consumed avocado in large amount can cause problems of upset stomachs to the baby.

4. Drugs Interaction
According to the standardized approach to elucidate the use of herbal medicines and their linked interaction with conventional medicine study, lead the Makerere University College of Health Sciences, use of herbal medicine including Persea Americana may cause adverse drug reactions(3).

Furthermore, Avocado may interact with"blood thinning" medicine.

In the review of possible interactions that may occur between Warfarin and fruit study, researchers found that avocado may interact with Warfarin, the anticoagulant (blood thinner)(4).

5. Persin toxicity
It may cause symptoms of gastrointestinal irritation, vomiting, diarrhea, respiratory distress, congestion, fluid accumulation due to toxic fatty acid derivative, persin(5).

Please make sure you know all these side effects for preventive measure.

The Herbal Remedy That Protects and Restores Internal Eye Structures Against Cataract Formation

Today, many whole herb ingredients worked together in herbal plants were proven effective in reduced risk and treatment of various diseases with little or no side effects by many respectable scientists through intensive research and studies. However, intake of a synthetic version of single-ingredient isolated from such plants may produce opposite outcomes.

A recent study suggested that Chaste Tree Berry may be used to protect the internal structures of the eyes against selenite-induced cataractogenesis.

Selenite cataract is a rapidly-induced, convenient model for the study of age-related (senile) cataract.

Selenite, named from the Ancient Greek word for the Moon. is a crystal-like substance of mineral gypsum, composed of calcium sulfate dihydrate. It is one of Chinese herb used for the treatment of heat and fire syndromes.

Long-term contact with the crystal may cause side effects of a headache, unstable emotional expression,..... and dizziness.

Cataractogenesis is a process of cataract formation.

Cataract, one of common vision loss in people over age 40 and a leading cause of blindness, is a condition of blurry vision caused by clouding of the lens in one or both eye(s).

According to a statistic provided by Laser Eye Surgery Hub, In England, 30% of people 65 years or older have a visually impairing cataract in one or both eye(s). 10% of people 65 or over had already had cataract surgery. 95% of cataracts are age-related, usually after age 40.

There are many causes of cataract, some researchers suggested that aging and injury that cause the changes the tissue made up the eye's lens, past eye surgery or medical conditions such as diabetes are the common causes of the disease.

However, some inherited genetic disorders such as chromosome abnormalities, Lowe syndrome,,,,

and neurofibromatosis type 2, also are associated to increase the risk of cataracts too.

Believe or not, cataracts can also be caused by other eye conditions.

Chaste tree berry is a species of Vitex agnus-castus, genus Vitex, belongings to the family Lamiaceae, native to the Mediterranean region.

The herb has been used in herbal medicine for thousands of year as an aphrodisiac herb and considered as Queen herb in treating menstrual problems and discomforts.

According to the University of Kerala, flavonoids found in the chaste tree berry exerted cataract protective effect in prevented damage of lenticular membrane and abnormal fiber structure in a patient with cataract viewed through electron microscopy.

Furthermore, the study also found that chaste tree berry expresses a significant improvement of chaperone property of α-crystalline and soluble protein levels in two dimensional-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (2D-PAGE) and immunoblot analysis.

α-crystallin, a structural lens protein plays an important role in protecting the eyes against the formation of eye diseases, including cataract.

Dr. Rooban BN, the lead author said, " FVN modulated selenite-induced cataractogenesis in rat pups by preventing loss of chaperone property, various changes in lens proteins, and lens structure, further strengthening its protective role".

Some researchers suggested that the efficacy of chaste tree berry in reduced risk and treatment of cataract may be a result of phytochemical antioxidants activity in scavenge free radicals that cause oxidative stress, loss of calcium homeostasis, calpain activation and protein insolubilization.

More importantly, in a study of eight-day-old Sprague-Dawley rat pups divided into four groups: Control (GI), Sodium selenite-induced (G II), Sodium selenite+quercetin treated (G III), Sodium selenite+flavonoids from Vitex negundo (FVN) (G IV), group fed with sodium selenite+flavonoids showed normal levels of expression of lens of water-soluble proteins compared to other groups.

In fact, pups treated with FVN was found to exhibit the antioxidant effects in modulating biochemical parameters against selenite-induced cataract, the University of Kerala insisted.

In support to the above differentiation, the Sprague-Dawley rat pups of 8 days old divided into control (G I), selenite-induced (G II), and selenite + V. negundo treated (G III) with cataract induced by the single subcutaneous injection of sodium selenite (4 mg/kg body weight) on the tenth day and V. negundo (2.5 mg/Kg body weight) administered intraperitoneally from eighth to 15th day study, researchers showed that group III exert significantly reduced activities of superoxide dismutase, catalase, lower level of reactive oxygen species, Ca(2+), and thiobarbituric acid reactive substance.

Taking together, Chaste tree berry may process of therapeutic potential used for prevention of changes of internal eye structures that stimulated the onset of cataract and treatment of cataract with little adverse effects.

However, additional large sample size and multicenter clinical trials with human consumption during the course of the disease are necessary to reconfirm chaste tree berry anti cataract possibility.

Papaya, The Tropical Fruit Which Normalizes Red (RBC) and White Blood Cell (WBC) Counts and Hemoglobin (Hb) Concentration Against Anemia

Anemia is characterized by a deficiency in the hemoglobin of the red blood cells, diminished the ability of the blood to transport oxygen to body cells and remove carbon dioxide from the body

The condition is the most common blood syndrome in the U.S, affecting approximately .6% of the general population.

According to common belief, people with chronic diseases are the most at risk to develop anemia.

Some researchers suggested that genetic mutation can also cause anemia. Children born with gene mutation are associated highest risk of the condition.

Sickle cell disease (SCD) is a genetic disease associated with unusually large numbers of immature blood cells.

Women are susceptible to iron-deficiency anemia because of the blood loss from menstruation.

Older adults who follow a poor diet pattern and some medical conditions also increase the risk of development of anemia.
Sadly, long-term intake of certain conventional medication such as Cephalosporins, Dapsone,... and Levodopa has a strong effect in the induction of the disease too.

The joint study lead by the Maulana Azad Medical College went further to suggest, "The prevalence of anemia was 79.9% according to the WHO criteria of hemoglobin <12 g/dl in females. Age, education, marital status, financial dependence, diagnosed chronic disease, diet, calorie intake, history of worm infestation, and body mass index (BMI) were significantly associated with anemia on univariate analysis".

Papaya is a species of Carica Papaya, belonging to the family Caricaceae and native to the tropics of the Americas, and was first cultivated in Mexico and several centuries

Chemical constituents
Alkaloids, Cardenolides, Anthraquinones, Saponins, Tannin, phenol, flavonoid, anthocyanin, Benzyl glucosinolate, benzylisothiocyanate, 5-(Hydroxymethyl)-2-furancarboxaldehyde, 2,3-dihydro-3,5-dihydroxy-6-methyl-4H-pyran-4-one and 1,3-dihydroxy-2-propanone, etc.(a).

According to Covenant University, Methanolic extracts from S. monostachyus, C. papaya seed oil, exhibited particular antisickling properties coupled with the potential to reduce stress in sickle cell patients(1).

In beta-hemoglobinopathies, fermented papaya preparation (FPP), increased the content of reduced glutathione (GSH) in red blood cells (RBC), and decreased reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, membrane lipid peroxidation, and externalization of phosphatidylserine (PS), through ameliorating oxidative status, without a significant change in the hematological parameters, probably due to its additional function as an iron chelator(2)

According to the Hebrew University Medical Center study, oral administration of FPP to beta-thalassemic mice (50 mg/mouse/day for 3 months) and to patients (3 g x 3 times/day for 3 months), reduced all the aspects of oxidative stress (p < 0.001 in mice and patients).

Furthermore, The preparation also alleviated symptoms associated with oxidative stress in severe forms of thalassemia(3) as well as a significantly reduced number of sickle cells(4).

People who have anemia or are at higher risk of anemia incidence may want to add a portion of papaya into their diet.

Taken together, whole food papaya and its fermented products may be used in combination with standard therapy in attenuated symptoms and treatment of all forms of anemia.

Aloe Vera, the Natural Whole Food That Inhibits Ulcerative Colitis

Aloe Vera may have a potential efficacy in reduced risk and treatment of ulcerative colitis, some scientists found.

Ulcerative colitis is a condition of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) inducing long-lasting inflammation and ulcers in the digestive tract, affecting the function of the lining of the large intestine (colon) and rectum.

The onset of the disease may induce a persistent change in your bowel habits.

Most common symptoms of ulcerative colitis include diarrhea with blood, abdominal pain, rectal pain bleeding,..... unintended weight loss.

Most patients with ulcerative colitis also experience an urgency to defecate and inability to defecate despite urgency.

In children, the onset of the disease may also cause persistent fever and grow retardation.

If you experience persistent and severe bowel symptoms that do not a response to over counter medicine, you may have ulcerative colitis, please see your doctor as soon as possible. Untreated ulcerative colitis can cause perforated colon and colon cancer.

The actual causes of ulcerative colitis are debatable, some researchers suggested that long-term intake of an unhealthy diet(5) and stress may have strong effects in the induction of the disease.

According to the joint study lead by the Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, including 62 newly diagnosed cases of UC and 124 healthy age and sex-matched controls, returned questionnaire indicated that dietary patterns play an important role in increased risk of the condition(5).

Dr. Jedel S the lead author in "A randomized controlled trial of mindfulness-based stress reduction to prevent a flare-up in patients with inactive ulcerative colitis". said, "mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) did not affect the rate or severity of flare-ups in UC patients in remission. However, MBSR might be effective for those with high-stress reactivity (high perceived stress and urinary cortisol) during remission. MBSR appears to improve QOL in UC patients by minimizing the negative impact of flare-ups on QOL"(6).

Aloe Vera is species of succulent plant in the genus Aloe, belongings to the Family Xanthorrhoeaceae, native to Sudan.

The popular herb has become very popular for commercial cultivation due to its health benefits. Aloe Vera has been used in herbal medicine in treating many kinds of disease, including wound, burn healing, minor skin infections, sebaceous cysts, diabetes,..... and elevated of cholesterol.

In a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial of 44 hospital out-patients with ulcerative colitis randomly given oral aloe vera gel or placebo, 100 mL twice daily for 4 weeks, researchers found that oral administrated group shows an improvement and response occurred in nine (30%), viewed in the Simple Clinical Colitis Activity Index and histological scores.

Dr. Langmead, the lead researcher said, "Oral aloe vera taken for 4 weeks produced a clinical response more often than placebo; it also reduced the histological disease activity and appeared to be safe".

Furthermore, in the study of male Sprague Dawley rats fed experimental diets for 2 weeks before and during the induction of colitis, dietary aloe vera gel significantly ameliorated intestinal inflammatory responses in a dextran sulfate sodium (DSS) induced ulcerative colitis.

In fact, the efficacy is also found to associate to the abundant bioactivity of the herbs.

Other researchers suggested that the anti ulcerative colitis activity of aloe vera gel may be due to the healing properties of antioxidants, scavengers, chelators as well as strongly inhibited inflammation, electrical/mechanical impairment in the gut, and a great majority of oxidative stress.

Taking all together, herbal aloe vera may process anti ulcerative colitis properties, through the expression of bioactivity in the induced production of antioxidant and reduced intestinal inflammatory responses. but further studies are necessary to reconfirm this possibility.

Green Tea, The Beverage Which Processes Anti Allergic Inflammatory Diseases Potential

Green tea may have a particular and special effect in ameliorated autoimmunity in precipitation of allergic diseases, some scientists opinionated.

Green tea, a precious drink processes numbers of health benefit known to almost everyone in Asia and Western world.

Allergic diseases are a class of conditions characterized by an overreaction of the immune system to substances which cause little or no harm to the body.

Investigation of the effect of green tea bioactive compounds in reduced abnormal immune allergic expression was found to associate to certain mechanisms.

According to the statistic, approximately 60 million Americans suffer from allergic diseases. affecting all age groups.

Most common allergic diseases include hay fever, food allergy, respiratory diseases such as asthma and eczema.

In a rare case, allergies can trigger also a life-threatening anaphylaxis.

Most common symptoms include itch, redden, Hives Itchy skin Rash Facial swelling Wheezing, sneezing Itching of the nose, eyes or roof of the mouth, runny and stuffy nose....and swelling of the lips, tongue, face or throat.

However, if you experience some the severe symptoms of a drop in blood pressure, any form of shortness of breath, skin rash, lightheadedness, .... and a rapid, weak pulse, you may already be infected by life-threatening anaphylaxis, please visit the nearest hospital right the way.

According to the Kyushu University, Epigallocatechin-3-O-(3-O-methyl) gallate (EGCG3"Me) isolated from cv. "Benifuuki" green tea expressed strong and positive activities in inhibited the mast cell production in precipitated allergic inflammatory responses and suppressed the high-affinity IgE receptor (FcεRI) function in the expression of immunoglobulin E (IgE), an antibody isotype involved allergy disorder through 67 kDa laminin receptor in mediation of the suppressive effect by epigallocatechin-3-O-gallate.

Further analysis also found that the bioactive compound binds to 67 kDa laminin receptor to attenuate allergic expression induced by mast cell by suppressing the myosin light chain phosphorylation in regulated immune response to eosinophil (a type of disease-fighting white blood cell) migration in the tissue, a characteristic feature of allergic diseases and ERK1/2 phosphorylation signalling by modulation of inflammatory cytokines expression.

A double-blind clinical study of the green tea effect on subjects exposed to Japanese cedar pollinosis, administration of Benifuuki green tea containing O-methylated catechins showed significantly relieved allergic symptoms induced by pollen such as nose blowing, eye itching in compared with the placebo group without affecting the normal immune responses.

More interestingly, in mouse bone marrow-derived mast cells activated by antigens, bioactive compound epigallocatechin-3-O-(3-O-methyl) gallate (EGCG3″Me) in combination with ginger extract also demonstrated a strongly anti-delay-type allergic effect by suppressing cytokines secretion of tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α), a cell signaling protein (cytokine) in response to systemic inflammation in the acute phase infection. and macrophage Inflammatory Proteins(MIP-1α), a chemokine involved host response to invading bacteria and virus.

In compared to the dose of 5.1 times higher in EGCG, injection of 8.5 mg of EGCG3″Me exhibited a much stronger anti-allergic activity than 43.5 mg of EGCG, observed by the area under curve AUC (area under the drug concentration-time curve; min μg/ml) of 6.72 ± 2.87 in EGCG and 8.48 ± 2.54 in EGCG3″Me.

Taken together, green tea with abundantly bioactive Epigallocatechin-3-O-(3-O-methyl) gallate (EGCG3"Me) may be considered as a functional food for protection against autoimmune response stimulated by unharmful allergens.

However, further data collection on studies performed with human consumption during the course of the disease will be necessary to complete the picture of its antiallergic possibilities.

Intake of green tea extracts, such as EGCG should be taken with extreme care, as overdoses induced acute liver toxicity have been reported by some medical literature.

Green Tea, The Beverage Which Processes Anti Hepatitis Potency, Suggested by PubMed

Green tea may have a potential effect in protected your liver against hepatitis infection, particularly, for people frequently travel to the third world countries, where risk of prevalence is abnormally high due to inadequate sanitation, some scientists suggested.

Hepatitis is an inflammation of the liver disease caused by a virus in most cases. however, a long-term overdose of drugs and alcohol also can cause hepatitis.

Most cases of hepatitis are mild without exerting any symptoms to carriers. However, Some forms can be seriously affecting liver function and inducing liver cirrhosis, or liver cancer.

People infected by viral hepatitis may experience no symptoms or symptoms of jaundice, yellowing of skin and eyes, loss of appetite, dark colored urine and pale bowel movements,..... Please see your doctor immediately if you have developed some of the above symptoms.

Liver disease is a condition characterized by reduced function of liver in toxin elimination due to organ damage or injuries caused by medication, viral infection, long-term high amount of alcohol intake,...

Green tea, a precious drink processes numbers of health benefit known to almost everyone in Asia and Western world.

According to the joint study lead by the Zhujiang Hospital of Southern Medical University Guangzhou, in the review of the database of PubMed, CNKI, Wanfang and Weipu databases, regular green tea drinking is associated to a significant reduction in the risk of liver disease(1), including hepatocellular carcinoma, liver steatosis, hepatitis, liver cirrhosis and chronic liver disease.

Green tea demonstrated a reduced risk of liver disease, particularly in hepatitis, regardless of the race and geography(1) of the patients resided such as Asian, American and European subgroups.

1. Autoimmune Hepatitis

Autoimmune hepatitis is a medical condition characterized by the immune system attacking the liver cells in the induction of liver cirrhosis as a result of long-term liver cellular inflammation and necrosis.

In concanavalin A (ConA) (25 mg/kg) induced autoimmune hepatitis in mice, pre-treatment of green tea exerted a strong inhibition of inflammatory cytokines through
* Increased Bcl-2 expression(16), a regulatory protein with the function of blocking the apoptotic death of some cells and
* Deceased activity of protein Bax inactivated p53, a tumor suppressor to induce cell death and caspase-3, and Caspase-9 proteins(16) in signaling molecules is responsible for executing cell death in compared to ConA-treated group within 8 hours of applications.

Observed by TUNEL assay by detecting apoptotic cells that undergo extensive DNA degradation.

In other words, green tea EGCG administration reduced expression of ConA in the induction of decreased numbers of infectious cells being attacked by the immune system, thus ameliorating the risk of liver cell damage.

Application of green tea bioactive polyphenols Epigallocatechin-3-gallate (10 or 30 mg/kg) orally twice daily for 10 days before ConA injection also demonstrated a significant activity in reduced activation of BNIP3(16), a member of the apoptotic Bcl-2 protein family in mediated infectious cell apoptosis through autophagy(16) in induced destruction of damaged or redundant cellular components in compared to lectin ConA.

Further analysis suggested that the result of green tea EGCG efficacy in induction of BNIP3 to decrease expression of concanavalin A (ConA) in reduction of numbers infectious cell proliferation was attributed to the IL-6/JAK/STAT3(16) signaling pathway which plays an important role in the mechanisms in exhibited green tea EGCG antioxidant activity in blocking infectious cells migration and invasion in exhibited hepatoprotective effect.

In other words, said, Dr. Li S(16), the lead scientist "EGCG attenuated liver injury in ConA-induced hepatitis by down-regulating IL-6/JAKs/STAT3/BNIP3-mediated apoptosis and autophagy".

Further differentiation also found that green tea EGCG administration inhibited the immune overreaction and pathological damage by decreased expression of inflammatory cytokines induced by Tumor necrosis factor (TNF)(16), tumor necrosis factor alpha, a cell signaling protein (cytokine) inactivated systemic inflammation in the acute phase infection.

Green tea also modulated the inflammatory factors, interleukin 6 (IL-6)(16), the pro-inflammatory cytokines and anti-inflammatory cytokines promptly and transiently produced in response to infections and tissue injuries and interferon-gamma (IFN-γ)(16), a cytokine that plays an important role in inducing and modulating immune responses to the infectious tissue, as well as cytokine interleukin-1β (IL-1β)(16), a key mediator of the inflammatory response in protected body against pathological invasion.

2. Hepatitis B
Hepatitis B is a viral infection of acute and chronic liver disease, caused by a double-stranded DNA virus HBV transmitted through infected blood, semen, or other body fluid.

Hepatitis B can be acute or chronic. If you are infectious by the virus and unable to get rid of them after six months, you are at increased risk of having a "chronic infection."

Patients infected by acute and chronic hepatitis B may carry no symptoms or experience some symptoms pain around the liver, dark urine and/or pale stool......

According to the statistic, positive carriers among Canadian is estimated to be 0.5% to 1.0%., depending to ethnicity.

According to the evaluation of the effect of green tea bioactive polyphenol epigallocatechin-3 gallate (EGCG) and risk of hepatitis B, application of the phytochemical inhibited HBV replication in the testing Hep3B2.1-7 hepatocellular carcinoma cell line(17), through a significant effect in reduced prevalence of liver damage caused by hepatitis B virus.

Injection of EGCG at the dose of less than 100 μM in the observed liver cancer cell line showed no effect in induced cell apoptosis and decreased proliferation but exhibited a strong effect in the ameliorated expression of
* Surface antigen of the hepatitis B virus (HBsAg)(18) and

* Antigen of hepatitis B virus(18) circulated in infected blood (HBeAg) levels found by the ELISA method and the polymerase chain reaction (PCR)assay.

Differentiation in different HepG2 2.2.15 cells to compare the effects of green tea with standard antiretroviral medication lamivudine (3TC), researchers indicated that administration of EGCG shows a significant inhibition of viral proliferation through attenuated expression of levels of HBsAg and HBeAg in the supernatant and extracellular HBV DNA(18) in a dose- and time-dependent manner.

At doses of 50-200 μg/ml, EGCG displayed strong effects in compared to lamivudine (3TC) at a dose of 200 μg/ml(18).

Application of EGCG also suppressed the extracellular HBV DNA(18), a nutrient source for viral cell proliferation and survival through attachment, aggregation, and stabilization of microcolonies.

The results of the experiments pointed out that green tea EGCG comprises a potential anti-HBV activity with low toxicity.

Moreover, in the investigation of green tea EGCG effect in the early stages of infection caused by four different Hepatitis B virus genotypes A and D researchers also found that at dose of more than 80%, the phytochemical inhibited both DMSO-differentiated HuS-E/2 cells and HA-NTCP-expressing Huh7 cells(19) involved cancer cell process in early stage of proliferation through induced protein degradation and ameliorated serum of transferrin(19). (the iron-binding blood plasma glycoproteins that control the level of free iron in biological fluids)which is considered a liver fibrosis biomarker in patients with chronic hepatitis B.

However, treatment of cells with EGCG had no effect on HBV genome replication or virion secretion(19) and the characteristic of HBV virion and the expression of known HBV entry factors were unaltered(19) outside of the host before attacking the liver tissue.

3. Hepatitis C
Hepatitis C is a medical condition induced by contaminated food intake containing hepatitis C virus (HCV). Hepatitis C has been found to associate with severe liver damage.

Chronic hepatitis C patients may not experience any symptoms, however, in serious cases of liver damage, patients may develop symptoms of bleeding and bruising easily. poor appetite, fatigue Poor appetite, jaundice,.....

According to statistic, approximately 130–150 million people around the world are living with chronic HCV.

In Huh7.5.1 cells, a HCV cell culture (HCVcc) system using a JFH1-GFP chimeric virus, application of green tea EGCG with 50 % effective concentration (EC(50)) of 17.9 μM demonstrated a strong effect in interrupted HCV progression through monitoring HCV RNA and protein levels in Huh7.5.1 cells infected with the JFH1 virus(21) by preventing the mRNA in transferring infectious cell transcription in facilitated cell proliferation and division.

Injection of green tea at dose of 50 and 25 μM EGCG, expressed a significant inhibition of the presence of HCV after 2 and 5 passages in HCV cell culture (HCVcc) experiment(21), using an American Type Culture Collection (ATCC) reference strain, with little effect to the viral internal ribosome entry site (IRES) in initiated substitution of RNA sequences for viral protein synthesis(21) in shutting off classic host translation to evade host immune response.

Notably, in comparison of effect of green tea with potent anti-HCV medicine, cyclosporin A and tamoxifen, researchers indicated that application of green tea showed a strong anti HCV viral activity, similarly to those of anti-hepatitis medicine through its antioxidant expression of flavonoids epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) and 7,8-benzoflavone (α-naphthoflavone)(21), observed in HCV cell culture (HCVcc) by blocking the entry point of the virus in initiated infection to host cells(21) and stimulating the viral cell cycle arrest at the late stage of HCV life cycle(21), respectively

Some researchers in the evaluation of green tea polyphenols (-)-epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) in hepatitis C infection suggested that EGCG processes anti-viral expression through interrupting the cross-link between HCV life cycle involving steps of entry, replication(22).

Injection of a concentration of 50 μM of EGCG was found to inhibit HCV infectivity by more than 90% at an early step of the viral life cycle(20).

The interrupted property in blocking the HCV entry cycle to induce infection to the host cell was confirmed with HCV pseudoparticles(20), an experimental model system in the expression of cellular attachment which is the essential component of the HCV entry process.

Green tea EGCG also prevented attachment of the virus to the cell surface in ameliorated HCV infection to the host cell without affecting viral replication and virion secretion outside of the host(20).

Summary
Green tea with abundant bioactive polyphenols may be considered as functional foods for reduced risk and treatment of various types of liver diseases. However, intake of green supplement should be taken with extreme care as toxicity was reported in numbers of medical literature, such as

The single ingredients extract has also been found to induce hepatotoxicity(2)(4) and acute liver dysfunction(4) in many occasions due to overdoses and long term usages.

Additionally, according to the Baylor College of Medicine and Dalhousie University, Halifax reported, "(There is) a case of acute impending liver failure in an adolescent male using a weight-loss product containing green tea extract" and "acute liver toxicity observed in individuals consuming supplements containing green tea extract"(3).

However, further data collection on a larger sample and multi-center clinical studies performed with human consumption during the course of the disease will be necessary to complete the picture of its anti autoimmune hepatitis, hepatitis B and C possibilities.

Intake of green tea extract should be taken with exceptional care as acute liver toxicity was reported in some cases in medical literature.

How to Alleviate Severity, Duration & Frequency of Chronic Headache Naturally and Effectively

Yoga therapy may have an important role in regulated central versus peripheral mechanisms in the expression of a chronic headache, the study by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences suggested.

Yoga, the ancient technique for harmonized external and internal body well beings, through breath control, meditation, bodily movement, and gesture..... has been best known for people in the Western world and some parts in Asia due to health benefits reported by various respectable institutes' research and supported by health advocates.

According to the study to investigate the role of muscle spasm overactivity in chronic tension-type headache (CTTH) with 15 patients of CTTH and 7 age-matched controls, randomized assigned to either yoga intervention or control, yoga group demonstrated a significant improvement in reduced overactivity of temporalis muscle in CTTH patients at rest in compared with control.

Furthermore, after examined the EMG records, researchers found that yoga group displays a strong improvement of subjective pain scores. and a substantial decrease in the mean electromyography (EMG) amplitude of temporalis muscle during rest and mental activity in compared to other applications such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, botulinum toxin injections.

EMG amplitude is a medical technique used to evaluate details of the timing and magnitude of muscle activation as well as muscles in powering a variety of types of locomotion.

Truly, yoga breathing and relaxation reduced daily stress through calming the central nervous system by connecting the mind and body, restoring the endocrine system in hormone balancing.

The technique of practice also reduced production of stress hormone cortisol and brought back the present moment, while letting them go or dealing them in a profound way.

Furthermore, yoga postures and deep breathing ameliorated overexpression of nerve neurons in the transmitted information of sensation, stress, and suffering by strengthening the flow of energy, thus enhancing relaxation in response to pain through unraveling the mind-body samskaras.

Moreover, in a study of 50 patients (aged 18-58 years) in a clinical diagnosis of CCTH, divided into 2 groups,
* Group 1 (n=30) patients have received 8 lessons and practical demonstration of Brahmakumaris spiritual based meditation known as Rajyoga meditation for relaxation therapy, in addition to routine medical treatment (analgesics and muscle relaxants) and

* Group 2 (n=20) patients have received analgesics and muscle relaxants twice a day but no relaxation therapy in the form of meditation by the Dr. Kiran, and colleagues, to support of the effect of yoga therapy in reduced symptoms and pain in tension types of a headache,

After 8 weeks follow up period, scientists showed that both therapies show a highly significant reduction in headache variables but yoga group expressed a highly significant relief of severity, duration & frequency of a headache by 94%, 91% and 97% in compared to group 2 of 36%, 36%, and 49% respectively.

The total headache relief according to headache index was 99% in yoga group in compared to only 51% in the control group.

These results indicated that yoga intervention may have an acute effect in ameliorated pain in chronic tension headache.

More promisingly, in the study to provide preliminary data on the feasibility, acceptability, and safety of alignment-based yoga for youths with chronic headaches, researchers at the joint study led by the Medical College of Wisconsin/Children's Hospital of Wisconsin found that yoga therapy may be considered pediatric headaches treatment, indicated by positive parent and participant ratings of the yoga experience.

Indeed, some yoga instructors suggested that the alleviation of stress by yoga exercise in reduced insomnia and swelling and constriction of the blood vessels was a result of yoga in initiated deep sleep and reduced tension of the blood vessels in the face and neck.

Additionally, these results were also associated with yoga exercise effects in enhanced head muscles relaxation and revitalization and improved hypertension in blood circulation, particularly in people with a chronic headache.

The findings suggested that yoga intervention may be used as an integrated form of exercise in provided relief in the severity of a headache, duration & frequency of a chronic headache, particularly in tension types of a headache.

Infectious Disease: Beware of Serious Complications Caused By Over Growth of Candida

Candida albicans are members of a large group of microorganism whose cells contain complex structures enclosed within the membranes, including yeast(2)(3), fungi(4)(5)(6), and mold(6) that live among the gut flora in the human mouth and gastrointestinal tract.

Non-albicans Candida (NAC) species cause 35-65% of all candidaemias in the general patient population(1).

According to joint study, in many cases, biofilm(microorganisms with cells stick to each other on a surface) formation(7) gene mutations(8) and overexpression of genes(9)(10) are often associated with increased Candida resistance toward antifungal agents.

Complications Caused By Over Growth of Candida
When Candida growth is uncontrolled and becomes fungus, its metabolites and/or toxins(117)(118) interfere with the functioning of nutrient-uptake(107)(108) and penetrate into the bloodstream, causing
1. Neuro effects
Candida produces toxins(acetaldehyde and ethanol)(112)(113) in large quantity that affect our brain and interfere with our biochemical processes, leading to upset levels of hormones and many key chemicals(109), resulting in symptoms of fatigue, aggression, depression and toxicity and schizophrenia(110)(111).

2. Permeability
As the innermost membrane of the four coats of the intestinal wall becomes permeable due to fungus(114)(115), partially digested foods, toxins produced by fungus and chemical molecules can enter the bloodstream and reach organs that suppress their normal functions, causing immune dysfunction(116)(117) in a long run and many kinds of chronic illness(118)(119).

3. Reproductive dysfunction
Overgrowth candida can cause the reproductive tract infection(120). For the female, it leads to infections of the upper reproductive tract (fallopian tubes, ovary, and uterus)(123), and/or the lower reproductive tract(124) (vagina, cervix, and vulva)(121)(122). For the male, it is at the penis(127), testicles, urethra(128) or the sperm tube(125), causing reproductive dysfunction, including infertility(126).

4. Premenstrual syndrome
As overgrowth candida binding to hormones(130), it alters the pathways and their shapes by preventing them entering the target receptor sites, that make certain hormones inactive, leading to estrogen and progesterone effected cell growth, morphology and virulence(131), in regulating blood sugar(132) and endocrine disruptor causes of premenstrual syndrome(129).

5. Autoimmune disorders
5.1. After entering bloodstream, it causes allergies reaction of the immune system(133)(134), but some of the antigens' molecules are similar to molecules of human tissue(135), resulting of the immune system attacking both the antigens and the body's healthy tissues, leading to autoimmune disorders(136).

5. 2. The main target of candida target
The main target of candida is to evade the body's immune system for their forever survival in the host body by targeting the immune system response in fighting against invading organism(137) as they change the receptors of foreign organism or theirs' form which is displaying(138), making them difficult for the body's immune cells to react appropriately(19)(140).

5.3. Digestive track colonization
The main purpose of Candida is trying to invade the intestinal wall by suppressing immune system responds(142) with inflammation(141), leading to prolong inflammation, (the prolonged inflammation is called ulceration colitis if it occurs in the large intestine(143)(144) and called Crohn's disease if it occurs in the small intestine(145)(146)(147)) that can cause digestive tract colonization of the host body.

5.4. The mind and emotion
If Candida overgrowth, it produces toxins (ethanol) to affect our brain in released metabolites that interfere with our biochemical processes in hormone production(109), leading to fatigue, aggression, depression, and toxicity(110)(111).

Green Tea, A Potential Beverage Which Treats Pulmonary Fibrosis Caused by Over Expression of Reactive Oxygen Species, MEDLINE Studies Show

Green tea may have a potential possibility in the cure of pulmonary fibrosis induced by overexpression of free radicals.

Pulmonary fibrosis (PF) is a chronic and progressive condition of lung disease characterized by reduced numbers and increased stiffness of air sac in the lungs (alveoli), affecting the lung breathing function to provide enough oxygen into the bloodstream

Green tea is a precious drink processed numbers of health benefit known to almost everyone in Asia and the Western world.

In the evaluation of green tea extract efficacy in pulmonary fibrosis caused by direct injury due to overexpression of oxygen free radicals and inflammatory cells and fibroblasts in mice model with injection of Paraquat (0.3 mg/kg) into the right lungs of rats, after 2 weeks, then assigned the tested mice to group treated by green tea extract or non treatment groups and control group treated by saline, after assessment, researchers found that
* Nontreatment group exerts a significant expression of pulmonary fibrosis, observed by contents of light microscopic morphometry and hydroxyproline and over the capacity of ROS observed by the lipid peroxidation assay.

Light microscopic morphometry is a valuable technique in the analysis of precancerous lesions at the light and electron microscopic level, in this case, it is pulmonary fibrosis.

Further examination also discovered that nontreatment mice group displays a pronouncedly increased
levels of malondialdehyde (MDA), an indication of overexpression of free radicals in induction of oxidative stress caused by ROS chain reaction and endothelin (ET)-1, and prepro-ET-1 mRNA expression, a strong indication of the endothelium signals of vasoconstriction and local cellular growth and survival of air sac cells in the lungs (alveoli).

Malondialdehyde (MDA) is a marker of oxidative stress

Endothelin 1 (ET-1) is a potent vasoconstrictor

*In compared to nontreatment and saline groups, green tea administered 1% GTE mixed with feed group shows a significant decrease in pulmonary fibrosis, along with decreases in MDA, ET-1, and prepro-ET-1 mRNA expression

The results suggested that green tea inhibitory oxidative activity in reduced expression of pulmonary fibrosis through the promoted production of antioxidants and antioxidants from the host to restore the ratio of antioxidant and free radicals and decreased the facilitation of proinflammatory cytokines in precipitated damage and apoptosis of lung cells and fibroblasts.

Dr. Kim HR, the lead author, after taking into account of other confounders said, "GTE inhibits paraquat-induced pulmonary fibrosis by suppression of oxidative stress and ET-1 expression".

Additional study of the neutrophils in the site of infection in initiated host defense and inflammation for pulmonary fibrosis development by the Medical School of Padova, revealed that application of green tea (-)epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) strongly inhibits neutrophil elastase by repressing the reactive oxygen species activity in the induction of apoptosis of activated neutrophils.

In vitro, administration of EGCG dramatically inhibited chemokine expression, secondary pro-inflammatory mediators induced by primary pro-inflammatory in activated neutrophil chemotaxis in the migration of neutrophils of the immune system to the site of infection.

Importantly, injection of green tea EGCG also demonstrated a significant effect by blocking neutrophil-mediated angiogenesis in vivo by the initiated growth of new blood vessels to stimulate and fuel the ongoing lung cell damage and death of the cell in the alveoli.

This differentiation constituted a substantial and protective effect in enhanced resolution in a pulmonary inflammation model and significantly reduced consequent fibrosis.

Dr. Donà M, at the end of the analysis, said, "These results provide molecular and cellular insights into the claimed beneficial properties of green tea and indicate that EGCG is a potent anti-inflammatory compound with therapeutic potential".

The above analysis of green tea effect in protect the lung against the development of pulmonary fibrosis caused by free radical chain reaction and overproduction of pro-inflammatory factors were supported by the study of "the protective effect of green tea extract (GTE), curcumin, against N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) on experimentally induced pulmonary fibrosis" by Cairo University.

According to the study, application of curcumin (200 mg/kg b.w), GTE (150 mg/kg b.w), and NAC (490 mg/kg b.w) orally for 14 days with concomitant administration of cyclophosphamide (CP), revealed a strong activity in inhibited oxidative stress and lung myelo-peroxidase activity observed in animals of the CP group.

Cyclophosphamide is a chemo drug used to suppress the immune system.

Myeloperoxidase (MPO) is a highly oxidative enzyme.

Treatment group also decreased the levels of N-acetyl-β-d-glucosaminidase, leukotriene C₄, and protein in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) in a demonstration of overreaction of immune response in induction of inflammation through inhibited production of proinflammatory cytokines (growth factor-β, interleukin -1β, and histamine) in initiated lung injury and induced apoptosis of lung cells.

N-acetyl-beta-D-glucosaminidase) in the analysis of kidney disease including nephrotoxicity.

Leukotriene C₄ is a leukotriene produced and secreted by eosinophils on activation.

Bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) is used to analyze interstitial lung diseases.

Protein abundance levels in BALF is a marker of lung diseases.

Taken together, green tea and its bioactive polyphenols may be considered as a functional food for the prevention and treatment of pulmonary fibrosis through reducing oxidative stress and inflammatory effect in elevated risk and progression of the disease.

However, further data collection on studies performed with human consumption of green tea during the course of the disease will be necessary to complete the picture of its potential in ameliorated pulmonary fibrosis possibilities.

Intake of green tea supplement should be taken with exceptional care, as acute liver toxicity was reported in several medical literature.

How to Prevent and Treat Infectious Diseases Naturally and Effectively

Including green tea as a beverage in your diet may have a therapeutic and positive effect of reduced risk and treatment of bacterial and viral infectious diseases, some scientists suggested.

The results of the analysis were carried out by numbers of institutes, including the Yonsei University and punished on online medical literature.

Green tea is a precious drink processed numbers of health benefit known to almost everyone in Asia and the Western world.

According to the Review provided by VeriMed Healthcare Network. intake of green tea 2 to 4 cups per day by steep covered 5 to 10 minutes for leaf or flowers and 10 to 20 minutes for roots was associated to support immunity while providing antibacterial and antiviral activity.

Also, green tea (Camellia sinensis) extract of 250 to 500 mg daily, enhanced immune function due to its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and immune effects.

Moreover, tannin, green tea derived polyphenols and other related compounds, in the study to investigate the anti-viral effects of tannins on 12 different viruses including both enveloped viruses (influenza virus H3N2, H5N3, herpes simplex virus-1, vesicular stomatitis virus, Sendai virus and Newcastle disease virus) and non-enveloped viruses (poliovirus, coxsackievirus, adenovirus, rotavirus, feline calicivirus and mouse norovirus) researchers suggested that application of tannin reduced some viral infectivity in compared to persimmon (Diospyros kaki) with more than 4-log scale against all of the viruses tested.

More importantly, the differentiation of epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) effect against viral infections also indicated that EGCG injection in solution type and powder types over extended periods at various temperature conditions exerts a strong effect in inhibiting the tested human influenza A/H1N1 virus.

Green tea extract in the study also demonstrated potent viral inactivating activity for over a period of up to 2 months.

These results suggested that adding green tea supplement GTE may provide a greater than 4 log10 reduction of viral titers at a wide range of temperatures.

Dr. Lee YH, after taking into account of other co and confounders said, "GTE-based antiviral agents could be formulated as a safe and environmentally friendly personal hygiene against viral infections".

The findings showed that green tea and green tea extract may be considered as functional foods in reduced risk and treatment of infectious diseases caused by the bacterial and viral invasion.

However, the intake of green tea supplementations should be taken with extreme care as acute liver toxicity has been reported in numbers of cases.

How to Protect Your Skin from All Forms of Acne Naturally

Extracts of green tea may have a therapeutic and positive effect in protection against the development of all forms of acne, some scientists suggested.

Green tea is a precious drink with numbers of health benefit known to almost everyone in Asia and the Western world.

Acne is a condition of skin diseases characterized by the occurrence of inflamed or infected sebaceous glands in the skin.

Serious types of acne such as nodules and cysts burst and damage nearby skin can lead to forming of scarring.

In the examined the effects of EGCG, the bioactive major polyphenol of green tea on human SEB-1 sebocytes with function in secreted sebum in patients with acne, researchers found that EGCG exerted a significant antioxidant activity in reduced sebum secretion by modulating the AMPK -SREBP-1 signaling pathway through AMPK expression.

SEB-1 sebocytes is a human sebocyte culture model used intensively in studying sebaceous gland activity and regulating and treating acne.

The AMPK are pathways played an essential role in the regulation of sebum production and secretion of sebaceous glands.

Application of green tea EGCG also demonstrated a strong effect in reduced sebum in the induction of inflammation of sebaceous glands, through suppressing
* The NF-κB in induced transcription of proinflammatory genes in cellular response to stress and pathogens and

* The AP-1 pathway, a transcription factor with function in regulated gene expression of inflammation factors in response to a variety of stimuli, including bacterial and viral infections.

Furthermore, administration of EGCG also found to facilitate a huge effect in targeting almost all the pathogenic features of acne through exhibited a significant cytotoxicity of SEB-1 sebocytes in the induction of viability of cutibacterium (propionibacterium) acnes.

Dr. Yoon JY, the lead author at the Seoul National University Hospital, after taking into account of all findings said, " EGCG significantly improved acne in an 8-week randomized, split-face, clinical trial, and was well tolerated".

Amazingly, the randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial conducted from May 2012 through October 2013, of a total of 64 of 80 women, from 25 to 45 years of age with moderate-to-severe acne randomly assigned to receive either 1500 mg of decaffeinated GTE or placebo (cellulose) daily for 4 weeks, there were statistically significant differences in inflammatory lesion counts found on the nose, periodically and on the chin between the two groups but no significant differences of total lesion counts.

Within the group, green tea application displayed significant reductions in inflammatory lesions distributed on the forehead and cheek with no difference in total lesion counts.

Moreover, the green tea group also significantly reduced total cholesterol levels compared to the cellulose group.

However, due to the limitation of the small sample and short time period, researchers postulated that more research is required to determine whether a decaffeinated GTE standardized for EGCG content will provide clinical benefits in women with post-adolescent acne.

Additionally, in selected 59 studies with eight met the inclusion criteria to evaluate the effect of tea polyphenols in reduced sebum production in the skin and for treatment of acne vulgaris by reviewing the literature published on PubMed, researchers suggested that application of tea polyphenols topically may have a beneficial effect in reduced sebum secretion and in treatment of acne through inhibited lipid synthesis by the sebaceous glands.

Truly, according to the University of Miami, in the examine 12 patients with mild-to-moderate acne vulgaris received green tea application twice daily for a period of 6 weeks, topical injection of 2% green tea lotion was found to be effective in treatment with statistically significant in mean total lesion count (TLC) decreased from 24 measured at the baseline to 10 after 6 weeks treatment, a reduction of 58.33%.

The mean severity index (SI) from all patients also decreased from 2.05 before treatment to 1.25 after 6 weeks of treatment, a decrease of 39.02%.

Dr. Elsaie ML, the lead scientists said, "Topical 2% green tea lotion is an effective, cost-effective treatment for mild-to-moderate acne vulgaris".

Taking all together, green tea and its bioactive major polyphenol may be used safely in reduced risk, progression, and treatment of all forms of acne pending to a large sample size and multi-center clinical trial.

Oral administration of green tea extract should be taken with exceptional care as some cases of acute liver toxicity were reported literaturally.
