2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups chicken stock
1/2 cup apple cider salt and freshly ground black pepper
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir in the flour
and cook, whisking, until it is light brown, 1 to 2 minutes. Whisk in
the chicken stock and barbecue sauce and season with salt pepper.
Continue whisking and cook until thickened, about 3 minutes.
